How to get here

Train

We recommend taking the train to Hamar—it’s the easiest option, whether you’re travelling from Oslo Airport (around 45 minutes) or from Oslo city centre (around 75 minutes).

The R10 line runs from Oslo Central Station (Oslo S) every hour (sometimes twice per hour) and stops at Oslo Airport (Oslo Lufthavn).

Plus, the journey includes a lovely scenic ride along Lake Mjøsa.

Car

By car, the drive takes around 45–75 minutes from Oslo or Oslo Airport. Follow the E6 north towards Hamar.

Accommodation Recommendations

We suggest booking a hotel in central Hamar. Arriving by train places you right in the heart of the city, with shops, cafés, and hotels all within walking distance.

Our wedding venue is about 2.5 km from the city centre.

Alternatively, there are plenty of Airbnb options throughout Hamar.
